Where do you get your 40cm Parabox doll clothes?

Postby Aurea Arleigh » Wed Jul 02, 2014 2:25 pm

Hello,
As title states I am in a new size range. I was lucky that my tight DD bunny hoodie fit my 40cm Aurea. It is like a knee level dress though the sleeves are maybe an inch too long but hey works for now as a hoodie/knee level dress!
That being said and probably got a couple laughs out of a few of you. Where do you find well fitting 40cm Parabox clothing outside of Parabox. I assume most 50cm azone stuff may fit but want to verify this since I still mainly need some undergarments. I lucked out with shoes and socks being very similar from my pile of DD hand me downs.

Will post pics once I send her head out for face-up and it returns and of course get her some proper underoos.

The 40cm has about the same "diameters" (B/W/H) as the 50cm but you'll find that sleeves, pant legs, hems, and the like will be on the long side. A lot of MSD sized stuff will fit but will run long. Just double check those B/W/H dimensions and prepare to do a little re-hemming.

Thanks for the information on this. Building my 40cm was actually due to seeing your girls over the past few years. That and finances eating my DD. Though it seemed like everytime I was searching on my obitsu, parabox or dollfie stuff I'd come across pictures of your girls stories and tutorials. Thanks for that as well btw and thanks again for the clothing info.

you could always try MDD clothes on your obitsu 40cm. I have heard that these fit the obitsu 40cm body.

Janeway is right. MDD clothing will fit the 40cm pretty well. There's just not that much MDD clothing out there.

I agree with K2 there's not a lot of MDD stuff out there but you can look at ebay or etsy. You could also try unoa, minifee and slime MSD as well. I have done this with my Rini witch is a obitsu 45cm girl with obitsu L bust and she fits the unoa and minifee t-shirts good.

I found size chart, and if the measurement are right, MSD sized clothing should fit. So, I'd recomment to look from Etsy and Ebay fro clothes that are made for (as Janeway said) minifees, unoas, resin soul msd's or other silm mini dolls.

Thank you all for the extra info regarding 40cm clothing. I was wondering if MDD clothes were close but didn't want to take the chance since the outfits are pretty high in price. I will check out these other smaller dolls and see if there are some styles fit more to my Aurea's werebunny persona.
Thanks again :D

If you are wanting clothing that is more causal and comfy looking for your doll, look on eBay doing a search for Hopscotch Hill under dolls. I have purchased many really cute outfits from a couple sellers that hand-sewn the outfits and also got a couple original outfits from the Brand of American Girl. The Hopscotch Hill Dolls and clothing are no longer being sold by American Girl, they have long since been retired, but people still sell the stuff on Ebay and there are a few people still making items for them. One thing to keep in mind when buying Hopscotch Hill size clothing. The pants on my 40cm doll kind of look like high water hems, but when she wears her high tops or boots, it isn't an issue. Also the sleeves are a little short, but you can pulls them up on the elbows for a gathered look and I have seen that style of short sleeves that people do were, but if you are wanting a winter look with long sleeves, you will have to come up with another solution.
