Arona, or Anona from Doll Love

My new girl Arona the Archer, hanging in the garden. She looked just like a picture of a character I drew named Archer so that's probably who she's going to be, just a laid back individual with the expertise to shoot a fly out of the air. She came at just the right time too. I was laying in bed with either a bad cold or a major allergy attack and just feeling rotten. I heard my mum open my door and put something in the room and when I finally felt well enough to get up there was the box! *Gasps for air.* The perfect end to a rotten day.

From the particular people I got her from her base name was Arona, but in other places I've seen it as Anona. I like Arona and I may keep it.

She's really cute! I'm not familiar with the company or sculpt. It's always nice to see new dolls (new to me, at any rate). :-)

How do you like the resin and the posing?

My daughter had a You-You YoSD from Doll Love. They are well made, solid and surprisingly nice posers.

Pretty face! I think making her an archer is awesome. My late BIL was a state champion archer and even made a movie about bowhunting.

Doll Love is one of my favorite companies! As someone said before they pose solidly and the company face-ups are simply divine! I own a Doll-Love Yiyi myself, and she is my only doll that can hold things up without the aid of hot glue sueding or wiring! I hope the posing is just as good in the bigger dolls! I love the serene look of her sculpt.
Isn't it a wonderful feeling when you are able to make a doll out of something you've already drawn? It really brings a character to life, I think! :D
