Dollieh Sanctuary

Recently redid my own 16″ Princess Jasmine doll by mounting the LE Jasmine 2015 head on a Jasmine 16" singing body, then repainted her face and restyled her hair, made her jewelry and dressed her in the indigo/violet gown I made a couple years ago.

I loved her old head so much, (the original sculpt from 2010 which seemed so lively and happy) but this new one is a bit larger, which fits the character better. (Jasmine has a pretty huge head.) At first, I really disliked this new head because of the way Disney paints it from factory, aside from the hairstyling being awful. But after I made several custom Jasmines on commission using this new head sculpt, playing with different styles of faceups, I decided it had great potential and I used it for my own dolls (11″ and 16″), after all!

One day when I get a chance, I’m considering redoing her eyes again to be larger and side glancing. (love the side glancers!) I did that on my 11" Jasmine and she's gorgeous and really looks like herself! This one is pretty good, but I think her eyes could be larger? I'll see next time I take her out.

Gorgeous! Love her hair. I wouldn't have thought that pale purple for her but it looks really good.

She looks great. I like the new face, her eyes are beautiful and I like that her teeth are showing.
