Oops. Emory made me do it, he put that pretty light skin Rong up on JS and I had to. It's Greyhaunt's fault. Not sure why, but I know it is. She arrived just as out-of-town company got here, so I didn't have much time with her, but I did grab a quick shot with her cousin, Andrei (An). Her name is Lena.
Andrei and Lena contemplate trouble they could get into.

She is really cute! I love her brown eyes! She does look like trouble, and I think her cousin isn't sure what he's in for!

Resinsoul- beautiful dolls, very reasonably-priced, just as nice as any other brand. Their faces are exquisitely-sculpted. I understand they are coming out with more new sculpts in the near future too.

Definitely a cutie - and with the family resemblance. But how will she explain those ears?

If I can find the appropriate antlers (little delicate ones), she may turn into a doe on the full moon or something. That's why they are cousins and not siblings.

OMG, that's sorta what I want to do with the Rong head! But I want some hoof legs, but no horns. She'd be white, too... I want to make an Iroquois Seneca spirit doll that's based on a legend, which is based on a true story. It took place in what is now Letchworth State Park. An Indian woman fell over the falls with her infant (think the first Ice Age movie). Her spirit lives in the white deer, which are real and live in the park, though they are very elusive. I'm hoping I can find some hoofy legs that will fit; I've asked on the comment section over on ResinSoul's site, but no response as of yet.

Jenn- the rumor on the DOA resinsoul/bbb mini thread is that they ARE coming out with MSD sized hooves. So hang in there, it should be happening fairly soon, I think.
And as for white deer- I was coming home from Santa Rosa a few years ago, driving through Sea Ranch (a big fancy "no footprint on the earth" development south of here, famous in architecture circles) and spotted a white deer grazing by the side of the road. Told my husband and friends who scoffed of course. MUST HAVE BEEN A DOG, you moron. Well, as the weeks went by other people saw it, and finally people started getting photographs of it. Turns out there is actually a herd of white deer up in the mountains not too far from here- some weird genetic mutation in the population. They are beautiful. I don't think anyone has seen one now for a couple of years- might have something to do with the recent mountain lion sightings.

Yay for MSD hoof legs!! I'll have to keep an eye out for that. ("Keep an eye out"... English has some weird-assed phrases... )
Same with Letchworth with the white deer thing. There used to be quite a herd of them, but they're more rare now, I believe. I actually have never seen one myself. I'd love to though!
Dog... hmph.
