Planet Doll Tara and Katie

Postby cirquemom » Mon Jul 18, 2011 9:01 pm

Manouche is my tan Planet Doll Tara. I hated Planet Dolls when I first saw them, and then strangely enough they started to grow on me. So I got Manouche, who is my Creole gypsy girl. She was lonely for a friend, so after much consideration, Planet Doll Katie arrived today. I had a really busy, long weekend and am too exhausted to do a face-up today. Hopefully early to bed tonight and then face-up tomorrow.

Oooh! I love the PD sculpts actually. They are quite different than most BJDs but they have so much character. The face you gave Manouche is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing what you do with her new friend.

BTW, how well do they pose? The knee joints are quite interesting and I've never seen one in real life.

You don't see a lot of Katies-I can't wait to see what you do.
I love the way Planet Dolls pose. I have a MSD boy and 5 tinies-4 girls and a boy. Their Dandy sculpt is my second favorite boy sculpt-4 of my boys are the same sculpt.

Thank you Landwhale!

They are very solid dolls- literally. Quite heavy and a bit larger than the other MSDs. They pose extremely well. The only thing is the arms can be a bit kicky, but a little wire and they are fabulous.

Richila I didn't realize you had four boys!!!!

I love Planet Doll girls, the only thing that bugs me is how they all look alike and they look a bit sad. But they're sooo pretty! Congrats!

They do look alike and it's really hard trying to decide which one to get. But after they get their face-ups and hair they all take on a unique personality.
