Doll leaves W arrives (with a little problem) :(

Postby -T2P- » Mon Aug 29, 2011 3:10 pm

Welp I recently bought a doll leaves W from a girl on DoA and he arrived with a broken ear  His head and hands were wrapped in paper towels instead of bubble wrap as they should have been. Otherwise I really like him and he is a pretty good poser all around but his poor little ear. I contacted the seller and I hope I'll get a small partial refund for the damage as a paper towel wrapped around a head is not the way a dolly should be shipped in my opinion, but I digress...

What should I use to fix his ear? Super glue?

I'm also not a huge fan of his face-up. Does any body have some nice recommendations for face-up artist who's good at natural face-ups :D

If it is a good clean break (two pieces with little or no chipping), use regular super glue.

Hmmm, on faceups Googlydoogly2 here does really lovely natural faceups. He goes by Hornisse (I think I spelled that right) on DoA.

Thats what I was thinking, I don't think I should fix it until I resolve the issue with the seller though.
