Are the elastics I used too thin or am I just too strong..? lol. I was just trying to tighten her strings... really XD

I'd say there was a flaw in the elastic, cause I've seriously manhandled mine before and never had any of it break!

The thing is, I have a spare package of the same string lying around, but I might wanna buy thicker string..? I used 3mm now, is that too thin for an MSD..? I thought I read somewhere that I should use 3mm for an MSD sized doll, so that's what I got, but when I took her apart the first time I noticed that her old string was thicker than the new stuff I got.

I'd say go up a little bit. I'd go as thick as you can, because it seems a lot more sturdy.

I'm SO ashamed. I crossposted this picture on a Dutch BJD forum today and within 5 minutes two people replied asking whether it was the string itself that snapped, or if it was just the knot I tied that came loose...

Nope, she's Angell-Studio Leira, milky white skin . (French resin)

Put her back together yesterday, used the string that came loose and just tightened it a bit, PLUS I did a hot glue treatment on her and put some wire (laundry line lol) in her arms and legs. I loooove her even more now!!!!! She feels SO much sturdier!!

I find that hilarious because I had just been looking on AS website. xD haha
The dolls are very lovely! But I do not think I would want french resin. :O
