Congratulations! and yes, Pictures!
But take your time. We all know what a bare Bobobie Sprite looks like. We want to see what you do with her, what eyes, hair, face paint, clothes, etc. All those things that will make her your sprite, and your sprite alone.

Very true. I do want to know two things though: what colour is she and did you get her blank or with a faceup?

Hi. Yes, I will take photos and put them up, but in about a week's time. I'm starting night duty tonight, so it will have to wait.

I bought a white mature body bobobie sprite, face up, long brown hair and she came with blue eyes. The wig is too big - I bought a 7/8 glib from Junky Spot - maybe should have ordered a 6/7? And the hair was toooo long, so I cut it, and cut the fringe a bit shorter. Seriously considering getting another wig, but in the mean time, this one will do. She was very floppy so I tightened her a bit. She has an S hook in the head and head is held on with magnets. Makes it so much easier to get the head cap off. I didnt undo the strings, just tightened them from head side. I also bought a normal skin one for my sister and the same wig but blonde. Both wigs look nice on both dolls, so gave my sister a choice of colour wig - her husband preferred the blonde wig, so she chose that. I am leaving the wig for her to cut or whatever. She also has blue eyes, but different, so I took one eye from each doll. Will get other eyes probably when I order another wig. She has a stockier body than Shontae (hujoo dana doll), but I love her to bits. She is gorgeous. I intend buying some eyelashes for her. I am looking forward to sewing and making clothes for her. She came a lot quicker than I expected - I calculated 3 weeks - which would have been next Wednesday, but she's here a week earlier. I am thrilled to bits.

I tightened my sister's doll - Willow (I think) - but am leaving the rest for her to do. My brother in law is quite arty and will try making shoes for them. He is thrilled that she has nipples! He wanted to know if they were painted a different colour so I told him no - he can do that. btw, he is into these model toys - so encourages my sister in this hobby.

Any tips for keeping the wig on will be welcome.

As for my sprite's name: I am thinking of Fleur, but she will let me know.

She sounds so cute! Fleur sounds like a great name. <3 As for keeping wigs on, I suggest self stick velcro, other wise, silicone wig caps, but those cost a bit much and can't just be purchased at a local craft store.
