Magia

This is Magia so far. I've been having a tough time with this girl. I'm not used to repainting or photographing green skin and it's been quite difficult. I just threw out at least 25 shots of her and I'm still not happy with this one even though it was only meant to be a quicky portrait.
I named her Magia because that's one of the Italian words for witch and I am currently studying Italian in Rosetta as I type. I've decided that Magia is going to be the girl in the jeweled black corset. I scotched the one I started. I'm going to use her original corset that came with her sans little skirt instead. It's the perfect shape. She's going to have a long, layered black and green net skirt over it I think and some lace up black boots. Maybe black and green leggings. Haven't gotten that far yet. The corset will take me a couple of weeks to do anyhow and after that I'll figure out the rest. For now I put her in this little blue dress with some silver sandals.
I cut her hair. The color is really nice, sort of a dark burgundy red brown with black streaks but whoever did her hair at Tonner chopped it all weird. This length was actually the shortest strand. Some of it like this and some was long chunks that went down her back but I couldn't really blend it. It really showed so I had to give her a shoulder length bob. I think she looks nice but I'm not really happy about her having to have shorter hair. I would have liked it longer. It's still long enough to put up, but just barely.
Eyes are purple with a blue ring and black liner. Lips are a dark vamp metallic black-red. Nails are black. I don't claim to be the best repaint artist around but I think she came out looking okay. It was more of an accent job anyway, not a full repaint. Took me about 4 tries though. She was a hard one to paint particularly her mouth. I kept having to wipe that and go back to it.
I may just get another one of these and wig her at some point. I've seen these basics online with hair down sans the goofy hair cut so I'm pretty sure mine wasn't typical. I may try my luck at grabbing a second one so I can have one with very long hair.
