And my 2nd doll arrives~! WARNING: Image heavy!

I ordered Ace from SOOM on August 16th and finally got my hands on her yesterday! The delivery was made exactly 97 days AFTER confirmation of payment (just 3 days before the 'Delivery Guarantee' deadline  ), and I think it took... Another 4-5 days for it to arrive to the address my EMS? Partly because I was delivered sometime Friday night meaning it probably wasn't sent out from Korea to Canada until Monday.

NOTE: Some of the images are quite blurry. I had to get rid of a lot of photos for their blurriness, but some of them were kind of 'important' so I decided to keep them anyway.

My long-awaited package!

Image
Such a fancy box. @_@ By the way, I bet this box alone added quite a bit to the weight of the package. I only have 1 doll to compare my new one to, but I can definitely say that the box is much heavier then the one BlueFairy uses.

Image
Such careful wrapping! I originally had a mini-skit with Woon (my boy MSD) in mind so you can see a part of him here, but the other images for the skit were too blurry so I scrapped the idea.

Image
The eyes. I did not expect them to come in a case like this, so it's a pleasant surprise. Apparently my camera can't focus any more at this closeness.

Image
Eyes + Eye putty + instructions.

Image
Ace's outfit. Could not resist ordering them. I also ordered her during an event so I got a free skirt and pink scarf along with my original purchase.

Image
This was a little disappointing. The company photo of Ace had these really cute, short(er) pigtails but as you can see these are MUCH longer than that. I really wanted those... T_T Ah well. Differences were to be expected, and at least the wig is the same colour as the one portrayed.

**WARNING: Doll nudity in one of the pictures below! ;)

Image
I really like this. When I ordered from BlueFairy my boy MSD came with a cotton-filled (probably synthetic) cushion that I planned on modifying so I could use it to carry him around, but this is clearly much better. First of all, it came with its own zipper. Secondly, it's padding is MUCH firmer than BlueFairy's cushion meaning it'll be better protection. And third, there are straps inside and extra 'mittens' to protect the hands. Basically the cushion they sell for around $10 in the company shop came free with my purchase.

Image
Bubble wrap heaven. XD

Image
Make-up Ace head. Oh? A free face mask?! I accept!

Image
Couldn't resist the body blushing... Took a good chunk of money, but I'm glad I got it. I'll use my photos as references when I attempt my own body blushing in the future. Btw, I noticed AFTERWARDS that I forgot to include her 'Fox Hands' in this parts photo. XD

Image
I was a little worried about how she would stand with the 'Fox Feet' since they seemed smaller and more 'flimsy' to me in the company photos, but as you can see they're fairly big and I don't think she'll have any problems standing with them (yet to be actually tested).

Image
Noticed this as I was putting the eyes in! "Grey&Ace" is engraved inside the head. :D I love the most random things, don't I?

Image
Such. Pretty. Eyes. Must. Resist. Ordering... MORE! >.<

Image
If you compare with the original company photos you can see that she is indeed the very doll I ordered (minus wig differences). She did come with clips, but I decided they didn't really fit her hairstyle.

Image
So I noticed that her hair was being held up by two clear elastics and tried setting her hair free. <3 I REALLY like this. I'm so glad I did that.

Image
Finally! A non-blurry photo!

Overall: Very happy with my SOOM order. She was very expensive (especially with all the optional stuff I added), but I think it was worth it... For one doll. I don't think I'll be ordering any more dolls this pricey again. Maybe more SOOM eyes though. The only reason I could actually splurge like this was because I had been saving up for a new laptop. Well, you can guess what happened to that idea.

P.S. I just noticed that I never once wrote down what I decided to name her as. Ha ha. Her name is 'Sul', which means 'Snow' in my native language. :P

She is so cute!!! Congrats :D. By the way, on the promo pics it almost looks like they manipulated the pigtails by wiring them or something. The way they're pointing sideways can't be natural...!

Congratulations - she looks lovely. And if the wig is too long, you can always shorten it!

She is adorable! And it's probably the same wig, but they styled it for the pictures (but cutting it). Sometimes it's worth spending the bucks if you really really love the fullset (I did with my Iplehouse Tatiana).
What is your native language?

Yeah, I'm sure they cut and wired it. Unfortunately judging from the way I cut my own bangs, I really don't trust myself with scissors. Maybe I can get a more dexterous friend to style it for me at some point.

Ooh! I actually wanted Tatiana myself but I didn't have enough saved up when she came out. My native language is Korean.

She is so beautiful, I just adore everything about her. I like how Soom's animal feet are nice and solid.

Korean is a cool language, I watch a lot of Korean dramas. Secret Garden was my favorite. <3

Thank you~! Now my ultimate goal is to maintain that beauty when I try my hand at my own face-ups and the like. And yes, I was so relieved when I saw how sturdy her animal feet were. I've yet to buy a doll stand so it would've been frustrating for me if all her poses with her animal parts had to be done sitting or lying down.

I think it's a cool language too. I just don't like how the names end up spelling in English. ^^; Somehow the words just don't look very nice... If that makes sense.

She's adorable! If you put her in her fox parts you must post pictures! I love foxes. And her eyes really are gorgeous, too.

And aren't Soom's cushions awesome? They send all their dolls with them. My Zinc even came with one, although he arrived in pieces do to having a horse body. lol Needless to say, he'll never fit in it again now that he's put together. XD The bigger ones even have sleeves for the arms to protect hands and stuff. They also sell them separately on their site. I went a little nuts and ordered five or six in varying sizes for my other dolls, too.
