I can't help but feel like a Mom waiting for a new arrival, as silly as it may sound. I currently paying off my first MSD sized girl. I am adopting her from anthrogirl14 her on DS. She is a 44 cm Hujoo Yumi and I am so excited!! Not only is she my first MSD sized girl but I am also considering her my first BJD :D She is also the first doll whom I have put so much thought into her character for.

We just moved into our first apartment so my dollieh budget is quite small. So she is on a short layaway, but in the meantime I am knitting her a lovely lilac sweater. I feel like an expectant doll mom :) I am really looking forward to her arrival.

I am so used to knitting Blythe sized sweater that is one looks so huge to me! Kind of odd to be saying about a doll sweater, but there it is.

I can't wait! ::squeal::

I remember waiting for Nagi... around this time four years ago. Without really knowing his size I couldn't start making clothes... so I made a 1/4 scale traditional japanese futon. ^__^

That's impressive! I've never made doll furniture. Knitting is really as far as I've gone but I would love to branch out. I'll be attempting to sew her a skirt, too.

A traditional Japanese futon is just a 'mattress', pillow, sheets, and comforter, there isn't any furniture involved. I have made a loveseat and couch out of cardboard, foam, hot glue, and fabric though. The tutorial for it is over on the Junkyspot forum, for some reason, I never got around to posting it over here...

It's exciting isn't it? My first MSD is on a layaway too and I'm so excited.
