I brought Landon to work with me since everyone else is on spring break except for me and I am stuck here working on costumes for an upcoming production of Moliere's
Learned Ladies. He's proved to be a bit of a distraction, but at least I am getting pictures of my least photographed doll.
I like this one....

Aww but he's so cute you can't help but enjoy the distraction! I'd love to have a job where I could (even on occasion) bring a doll in.

Maybe he's not helping, but who could blame him, cute as he is?

One of my jobs can, the other not so much. While the girls at the shop know about the dolls and I bring them once in a while, I am hesitant to when people are there just because I don't want anything to happen to them. Bringing them when I am alone is a little safer and I just feel better about it.

Wow, he is beautiful! no wonder he is such a distraction! I could never bring my girl to work, I would probably be ostracized! lol

Well, thank you.
I know what you mean. The theatre department at my university is incredibly accepting of the hobby... everyone just thinks it relates to costuming and me being arty so they don't think twice about it. I'm very lucky and even then I feel weird about it.. and don't take dolls out in public regularly. I am hesitant to bring them there or to my other job at an independent fabric store when people are around unless someone really wants to see them...

Everyone at my work knows about my dolls. I don't care what they think. Your doll is gorgeous, no wonder he was a distraction.

Thanks, Chrystal! It's more of a 'there's more people to bump them' sort of thing. Anyone in the department that's going to judge me for dolls is already going to do it... and I think most folks think that it makes sense because I do costume design. We already work with scaled body forms occasionally. So, my bet is that's why everyone's cool with it. Besides, one of the girls in the department collects egg cups. We're all a little interesting... so we might as well embrace each other's hobbies!
