My beautiful Adelayde finally has a wig!! Plus funny story
Posted: Sun Mar 17, 2013 9:36 amHoly crow guys!!! Adelayde FINALLY has a wig! It basically took me a month to decide on one for her, don't know why I was putting so much pressure...but I was LOL. Without further ado, SPAM TIME

She is terribly washed out in most of these, but I just couldn't wait to share.

Hey, I said Spam Time didn't I?
I am SO in love ((can you tell??)). Her wig is a Monique Gold collection/label/whooziwhatzit, Ciara in Brown Black. I was slaving over trying to find her a wig since I made my first payment (which was at least 6 weeks ago). I can not tell you why it was so agonizing, I think I felt like her whole character kind of rested on choosing the right wig? Idk, I'm nuts. When I first saw her she was in a blonde wig so I thought for sure she was going to be a blonde. But then as I got to know her I really started feeling that she wanted to be a brunette. I finally narrow it down to three and painstakingly look up pictures of all of them on Flickr to see the true shape/color of the wig and I choose ::drum roll:: the Ciara wig in Ginger Brown ((Wait, didn't you just say it was Brown Black...?)). It's like this really nice kind of dark blonde/brownish, the perfect solution to my blonde/brunette dilemma. I order the wig (a big party and sigh of relief ensued). It was delivered to my Mom by mistake, so I go pick it up...so excited I don't even care that is was sent to the wrong address...open it...and...it's the wrong wig.
Yup. The wrong wig, after all that. I was seriosuly crushed. I looked up my order, sure it was the seller who messed up. Nope. I put the wrong one in my cart. EFF! Luckily my best friend and boyfriend were there to do damage control. My best friend was the one that suggested we just try it on her...just to see. And low and behold, it's perfect. I had mixed feelings at first, but Adelayde just had the sweetest look like, "Don't I look beautiful??" And she does. I can't help but feel like after allllll my hard work/obsessing she decided what wig she would have. In the end, I am so happy with her. Sometimes fate just has it way...
