Now I just need a 1:4 scale poop-scoop. LOL

I bought a 20 inch tall Battat horse off of Ebay. This sculpt is the Morgan horse. I've got another one on it's way. I was excited to see it fit the 1:4 so well. Not that Foster would be caught dead riding a horse, he would be far more dignified on a proper racing snail. :-p

I have two of those - a black and a bay. Got them both at thrift stores :) They work well with the 50cm sized dolls too.

Very nice! Much more realistic than my girls pony which is a Walmart 'My Generation' brand pony.

Wow, that's great! I can't tell if I should complement your doll for being able to balance on the horse, or the horse for being able to stay up despite the added weight. Either way, great find, congrats!

*cry* I can't find a horse that's 70cm at the withers. They just don't make (affordable) ones that big AND that look realistic enough that I'd want it.

At least mini-Ivan has a motorcycle. That's better than nothing. LOL *sings* on a steeeel horse I ride... <3 Bon Jovi.

These horses are rock solid. Stands like a champ even on my carpet. It has huge feet and a sturdy build. I'm really impressed with the quality. The back is really flat, too. I imagine that's the only way Foster stayed up there.

Ssssh, don't use logic. Foster secretly likes a lot of things he merely pretends to hate. Stubborn little punk.

Thanks, I was lucky to find it at a decent price. These Battat horses are supposed to be used for the American Girl dolls, aren't they the same scale as My Generation? Both dolls and horses?

I wish my thrift store were so cool. There is a bin full of naked, stained Barbie dolls and some busted up child's toys but nothing cool comes through. I'm really anxious to check out the Goodwill in Buckhead, Atlanta. Seriously. Insanely rich people give away their stuff too... really really nice stuff.

Those are awesome! We bought the whole herd (all 7 different styles) for our 1/3 boys. Since the horses are 1/4 and short, we lengthened their legs for our guys and it's really a decent compromise.

Here are a couple photos of the 1/3 guys (including a 65cm) on the horses:

One of them looks kind of stupid (the black one) but the other 6 came out really well, I think.

You can do that for Ivan-san, too, if he really wants a horsey! Just don't choose the horse with the straight pose. That really makes the legs look funny when you lengthen them! ^^

We didn't lengthen 2 yet, because they were for MSD dolls, but we've since sold our MSD and so, in Aug, we'll be adding length to the remaining two! (The taupe and the grey)

hey, I remember those pics. Well, the horse isn't going to last too long. I'm going to chop its head off and put it in Abe's mattress as a warning to return Foster.

Just kidding.
