Attempted my first face up on Neil yesterday. :) Constructive criticism is appreciated!

Very pretty. I'm not really sure what you were going for but I think she looks calm and sweet.

Thank you. XD Note to self: learn how to do more manly face ups. Poor Neil.

Oops! Poor Boy, I'm sorry.

Uh, maybe a little less blush on the cheeks might help with that, but best to ask someone else who has more experience with male face-ups to be sure.

I think you did the brows quite well - and they tend to be difficult. Perhaps his lower lashes are a bit too much for a boy, but other than that, it's a great first face-up!

Yeah. I was thinking maybe I would try just a peachy color instead of pink next time. :)

Thank you for the compliment. Do you think the lashes are too long, drew too many, or both?

He looks like a young boy with the lashes. Very nicely done. We're you looking for youth or more of a teenager?

For guys you can omit the eyelashes entirely (top and bottom) as lashes are not a very prominent feature on most men.

Ooh, thank you. :D Yes, I was going for a 'young boy' look (although it still turned out more feminine than intended, ha-ha).

His default face-up came with lower lashes as well so I'd feel a little empty if I left them out completely. I'll try to make them less obvious when I re-do is face up sometime in the future.

I think he looks like a sweet young boy. This is an awesome first face-up! Remember that what's "manly" or masculine is a matter of opinion and all depends on what you want for your character :-)
