My first time ever face-up (Soulkid Liddell)

Audrey has been here for almost a year now. And I never liked her face-up. But didn't have the MSC or nerve to give her a new one. In the year she has been here her face-up which already was chipped in two places got damaged some more and well. She really needed a new one now!
So on the Dutch Dolly fair (Dolliverse) I bought 2 can's of MSC (have some more who need a face-up ;) ) and I already had some soft pastels and aquarell and such.
Now the only thing I needed was a push in the back from Evelien and some vids on youtube to make me dare take off her previous face-up.
And when I finally did I discovered my Soft pastels where missing!
So after some searching for some at a good price I finally had everything I needed to begin my very first face-up ever.

Here is the former one:

I do not like the heavy lines above her eyes and the heavy make up she has here. I did like her lips but sadly you can't pick and choose. Everything must go!

So here she is wipped and squeecky clean!

I just love her lips!

And heres the new face-up!
Had a hard time because my brushes didn't pick up the soft pastel too well and my braun aquarelle pencil decided it had had his best time and crumbled off whenever I sharpend it...not breaking..crumbling..into tiny bits and pieces so there wasn't even a lose point to work with :(
But it was the BEST color...
And then it proved to be just to warm for face-upping and even with me washing hands inbetween sessions I smudged her cheek because of sweaty hands.
But still...I love the outcome!

And here she is with eyes and wig and all:

What do you think of my first face-up?

I love it. Her face and your face up makes me thing of Coraline from the movie. Give her blue hair and a yellow rain coat and she'd be set. :D

She's cute. I like the more natural faceup you gave her better than the heavy makeup she had before.

You did a great job. Even her eyebrows(the hardest part to get right, lol) look great.

Thank you everyone. I'm really happy with her more natural look too. This is how she was intended to be.
I might darken the eyebrows a bit later on. And I heard that the gloss I have (for fimo) can be used on resin too. So I'll be glossing her lips too. And when I can buy some resin safe glue she will get some eyelashes :)

Oh, she is so sweet-looking with her new faceup! (I'm really impressed by the eyebrows, that always seems like the hardest thing to me and my first time was such a mess...)
