Volks animetics are GORGEOUS and there are other companies making animetic-like eyes. They are acrylic so they aren't that expensive compared with glass eyes and urethane eyes, so experiment! Make sure you use a non-reactive kind of eye putty with them...the wrong stuff will weaken the acrylic. I use silicone ear putty...it is clear and sticky and doesn't show on the corners of the eyes.
