Faceup #2 mark II

I did the first Mr. Moustache faceup on a Resinsoul Dai head. Not having the first clue about relative sizes, I eventually decided that head was too pin-headed for the Doll Leaves body I got for it.

So, the Anthony head from Doll Leaves arrived the other day, and I've gotten the blushing mostly done (I want to add a bit of pink around the eyes).



I need to undo the lining in the eyes a little bit but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I opened up the eye a little bit: I love this sculpt for the cheekbones, but combined with the enlongated eyes, looks a little bit too Asian for what I have in mind.

The light for the shot above is better, but here's a before and after.

Same eyeballs in both shots, eyesockets opened in the righthand pic. Obviously.

His eyebrows came out a bit more orange then I intended, but we'll just say he's got some ginger genes in there.

That eye mod looks really good, and he's a charmer!

Thanks! I was a little nervous sanding away on a new head but I looked at eye shapes I liked and headed in that direction. The eyes came with the head and I like them just fine.
