Obitsu question

Postby ShortNCuddlyAm » Fri Jul 25, 2014 6:50 am

Not sure if this is the right section...

I'm very tentatively thinking about getting a 50cm female body (or maybe the 55cm male and swapping the chest). Is there anywhere that just sells the body? I have a head already!

Junkyspot if they're in stock. Parbox sells 'em too.

I bought the discontinued Alice from Think Pink. They might sell the bodies separately, too.

Thanks - sadly though I've already checked those three - they all seem to be only selling them with heads (or pre-ordering in Think Pink's case). And yes, I know I could just swap the heads ;)

Junkyspot is US based, so you'd pay a lot in customs charges.

In stock here and ships from Japan, exchange rate is excellent for us right now (whitey means regular skin tone, confusing I know ) http://www.hlj.com/product/OBT04901/Dol

Ah, yeah. I think all the Obi 50 girls come with the Mizuki head. I don't think the body would be much cheaper without it. You could probably sell the head to make up the difference.

HAHAHA... omg. Whitey. That's too funny.

Oooh - looks cheaper than Parabox too :) (I'm still going to get hit for customs, so I may as well go for the better exchange rate ;) )

Trethowan - you're probably right about the cost difference.

And lol at whitey. I'm upset they don't call the other skin tone pinky or something though!

Most Obitsu bodies come with a head. Heads cost about $15-$20 so getting a body without a head won't significantly lower your cost, not the $50 to $100+ of a resin doll.

Yeah, Whitey. That's one of those "machine" translations.
The 50cm and 55cm as well as all the custom Parabox bodies (40/45/47cm) only come in white skin. Some 60cm bodies come in Fleshtone, which is a bit darker and oranger than white skin. Fleshtone is sort of being phased out.

There is a new Obitsu full set that just went on sale in a new color, super white. The regular Obitsu white skin is similar to Volks normal so this new super white is whiter, probably more like Volks white. The new full set's name is Mikaduki 2. I'd post a link but the Obitsu site isn't responding right now. I do have a picture.

Mikaduki 2 is the blue girl on the left (super white) and the original Mikaduki is on the right in black (white skin).

True - I was rather forgetting that the heads are cheaper than resin ones.

That new colour looks rather nice too. I do sometimes wish they did them darker as well though (light tan as a bare minimum). Usually when I've troubles getting a resin doll to behave!

I really must stop looking at them - I was convinced for ages I never wanted anything over 45cm. And my original intention was to sell the head if I didn't completely mess up getting a Hujoo Chicaloco head on a 45cm body. And now I'm planning on keeping it and getting a 50cm body to go with it. And maybe one in super white to keep her company.

Obitsu actually makes makes a nice tan, which is manufactured for the VMF50s and Angel Philia. My girl Penelope (on the left) is an Angel Phila tan with an Obitsu fleshtone head. The fleshtone is a little lighter than the tan but close enough. Diamond (on the right) is a VMF50 white skin.

The Parabox 45cm is manufactured by Obitsu, essentially a shortened 50cm.

Right now the super white is only available in the Mikaduki full set. I haven't heard anything about the super white being available any other way yet.
