The Lady Himiko

Postby AlmySidaKay » Sat Jan 31, 2015 12:24 pm

I got Himiko in the summer of 2013 in a trade, she's my favorite doll and has been since she got home. She was just the right weight to feel super comforting when I'm feeling down. (Needless to say, she's been hanging out with me a ton lately). She is also the one who broke me for SD girls and since she arrived I haven't been able to keep anything but SD girls in the house permanently. I don't take photos of her as much as I should but I thought a fun timeline reel of how she has changed cold be just the sort of thing I need today.

When she first came home I only had SD boys in the house, she kinda looked like a boy in a dress.

Image

Then she borrowed a certain Iza's Fer and I was sunk, I had brought home a girl who loooved ruffles.

Image

And then... she got a face up done by Iza, a new wig and a new outfit.

Image

She spent many months in that wig, and then she got a new dress from Zirconmermaid.

Image

And then she got ANOTHER new dress from Zirconmermaid, along with a custom head dress, and a new wig again, along with her first SD friend.

Image

Because she is spoiled she gets new wigs often. She also had a custom Tardis necklace made just for her.

Image

See more new wigs.

Image

And then she finally found.... HER WIG.

Image

She then got a new dress in March of last year, and wouldn't take it off until she got a body upgrade a few months ago.

And then.... came the body upgrade.

(Still wearing the same dress in November of 2014, this was the last photo of her taken before she got her new body.)

Image

I got a Granada Nuevo body and was going to put someone else on it, but it was the perfect size, weight and proportions and Himiko quickly stole it as her own before it even came home. With the new body she wanted some new clothing. And the Lady Himiko continued new things!

Image

A slight adjustment of shirt but now she poses like boss, but her face had gotten really dirty and started to come off, plus it didn't match the new body.

Image

So, she got a new face up from a local friend, and wanted to wear her new Sailor Moon necklace instead as well.

Image

Lately I've been playing a lot of World of Warcraft again, but I have a leveling buddy, so it's all good.

Image

Hope you enjoyed watching Himiko grow and change over the years!

Thanks so much! It's nice to have a favorite, of course mine is my heaviest doll. But isn't that often how it goes?

Wow, it's really neat to see how one doll can look so different, even with the same owner! She looks lovely.
