I'm ecstatic with joy! My couch arrived today. *squee* It's big enough for Jim to sleep on, even. It's a bit deep but with throw pillows that'll be solved. I just need some end tables and beer coasters. LOL

*happy dance*

LOL, Jim is still wearing a baby onesie and a bib loincloth. So sad.... hehehehe

*Sofa envy*

Is that for toddlers, or pets? Did you get if off of Ebay?

I'm going fabric shopping this weeked because a guy near where I live custom builds toddler couches and yesterday we talked. He's going to adjust one of them to fit my 60/50 cms!!!! I'm so excited!!! And the best part is the cost - only $65.

No way, that's a great deal. Mine was a salesman sample from the 1950s and was more expensive than a Resinsoul but cheaper than a Dragondoll. hahaha

If this guy set up shop on DoA he'd probably make mint! hehe

oh man, those salesman sample are awesome! Those are REAL couches. Don't know how good my custom couch will be, but I can afford it so that's what counts :)

Hehe... the seat might be a little firm (LOL) but it will have to be in order to endure a horde of college kids. I have been looking for something old and busted (yet somewhat modern) for years now. Victorian and such are easier to find, but retro dumpster finds, not so much. That will be the tale. I absolutely HAVE do a story of Jim helping Ryan carry his dumpster dump find. Not terribly original, I'll admit, I once witnessed that grand event while in college. This group of guys happened upon a couch by the dumpster next to my dorm. My sister and I watched them as they first expressed glee at their glorious find, then inspected the couch, taking turns sitting on it, and then they lifted the thing and scurried off with it, like a horde of ants. They were laughing their asses off, that's what was so funny about the whole ordeal. My goodness, that was 14 years ago and my sister and I still laugh about it.
