Box opening for Domuya Zen head (updated with faceup 5/22)

Thanks for the tips everyone. So I used the brush remover on some cotton and left it on the paint spots for 8 hours. With some scrubbing it all came off! Yay.

Anyway this is my first attempt on him I was going for something more natural. Gonna wipe him and try again. His bone structure is so nice that the natural look barely enhances him. I guess I feel more successful when the faceup transforms a face, but i guess since he has so much structure in his face, there isn't so much of a change.

It seems a shame to just wipe such a nice faceup for practice. Feels like you should sell it or trade it for a blank head or something.

I alreayd wiped him ahhaha. I think that particular faceup lasted less than 24 hrs. I just really like doing faceups. The problem is that I don't have the extra cash to buy a ton of heads which is why I would love to do commissions.

Thanks for the compliment though. Personally (and I know i'm pretty hard on myself...my bf is harder on my work than i am sometimes because we have dif views on things) I wouldn't sell him because I don't think he's good enough. I also really like his sculpt so I'm going to keep him and keep repainting him till I can get my hands on different sculpts. Eventually I do want to find him a nice beefy body. Unfortunately his skintone is a bit hard to match.
