Please, I still cringe when I think about AWA 2012 where I lost a 2 week old limited edition LeekeWorld wig when it fell off my MNF's head while she was in my purse (with just her head popping out). And she had a head cap on.

Wow, that what I usually call tragic, but thank you for telling me so at least I'm aware that the wig can still fell even with head cap....
Although I'm going to make the wig myself, I don't my hard work to go wasted. It just that Leekeworld standard is already expensive, and limited edition:roll: , it just too cruel....

Tell me about it. I was able to eventually find the LE color, but not the style (which isn't limited), so I got that wig because I was more interested in the color. It was a fluke really that I even found the color, but I'm glad to have it.

i wonder if putting a few small stitches to hold a wig onto a silicone cap would work. would be a pain when switching wigs unless you modded each one, but hmm..

It's possible but then if you have like 10 wig, then you need 10 silicone cap and every time you have a new wig, you have to another cap for it.
This maybe nice for a person who have only few wigs but not too efficient...

Why don't you make your own wig? If the color is the thing that attract you for the wig, it will be easy. Even a rainbow colored wig is possible. What is only needed os hair weft (buy or take from wig), hot glue and needle and time . It is also cheaper this way ;)

Twinage, in answer to your question, this is a character doll (pretty much all of my resin kids are characters) and her hair was very specific in my head. When I saw the Leekeworld wig it was absolutely perfect, but more specifically the color was, you know - IT.

I like fiber and mohair wigs, but am not a fan of fake fur or yarn wigs (just a personal preference). Oh, and I did try my hand at making a mohair wig once. It wasn't pretty ..... but it was an expensive lesson!

Yup, my personal preference is also fiber, synthetic hair. I feel like other wig from fur or yarn sometimes look like a messy, bed head, although I have seen some great quality wig made from fur that is really adorable.

I wanted to know is it possible for a Mirodoll girl to be set in this position?

But with hand on the the front rather on the middle of the leg.

I was thinking the best way to carry her in my tote bag and if your girl can do this, please let me know if she has been sueded or not?
Or maybe anyone can recommend other body position that take as smaller space as possible? :)

i don't think it's a position she can hold herself, no. however, if you have her strung loose enough to "pop out" her joints and see the elastic, you might be able to position her hips around and tie her legs in place with a scarf or something.

edit: i went and checked on my male body, and it actually doesn't work. their lower leg is longer than their upper leg, so it doesn't end up with the hips and feet level.

what i have done to put one in my handbag (for cons i use an over-shoulder bag) is i have the doll on it's knees with it's knees resting on the bottom of my bad, and it's stomach coming up the inside of the bag nearest my front. i put their arms around the chest-strap and either tie them their with a scarf to protect their hands, or just let them hang on with their own tension.
