FINALLY got my Customhouse Cebee, ordered Jan. 4th, arrived today (Sept. 13). Haven't done the face-up yet. Does anyone else see a faint resemblance to another doll?

Finally- the Blue Box arrives!

Really cute pillows inside.

Nicely finished, smooth resin, stands right out of the box.

Pretty face. Remind you of anyone? Only she has two little teeth.

Poses well.

Free event head- Iriya. That was the deal- the dolls were 1/2 price, and you got a free head. I have a body for her but it isn't strung yet. It was also from Customhouse when they cleared out their old stock. It's the old-style body and was only 88 bucks.

Image
The wig was free too! I was supposed to get free eyes, but I'm not complaining, because I like the wig and I have about a zillion extra eyes around here.

Image
Popped some Safrin eyes in just to see how she would look. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get her face-up done.

I like her!! I have always liked dolls with two front teeth (Chatty Cathy went everywhere with me for a very long time) And I LOVE that Iriya head! WOW!! Who sculpts for Customhouse? I must look at them more.

edit: OMG - they did the Dollmaster dolls?!! I loved that doll!! (and the movie too)

Customhouse has great events (constantly) with great pricing and great options, however be prepared for a very long wait. My two CH Ange Ais too 17 weeks to the day. By the time I got them I was no longer interested in the YO-SD child sculpt. Also, they seriously needed seams sanded. The company needs to do two things - stop overlapping events and stop using multiple manufacturers to process the dolls (they contract out) which causes inconsistencies in the quality.

They have very cute sculpts, but if you do buy from them expect at a minimum a 4 month wait.

So, would that be Prima's long lost sister?

Hmm...her long lost resin sister?

Yes, I had a very long wait- 8 months. Supposedly they have fixed whatever the problem was. This doll arrived perfect. I had heard horror stories of ragged and sharp seam lines, chips, dirty dolls, etc., but had none of that with this doll. She has no seam lines at all, no chips, and was completely clean.

She is lovely. So, who is she? No sign of a name, yet?

I don't think she's talking till she gets a proper face-up and her own outfit.
