No way near as awesome as having legit casts of the actual puppet's heads but... Big Chief have gotten their hands on the Supermarionation license. They're doing the Thunderbirds characters (though I'm more excited for the Captain Scarlet stuff myself)

These are legit casts. Licensed and everything. TinTin is from a mold made of an original head, and I believe Penny is only one mold generation later.

:?: Um... Yes? That's what I said isn't it? Sorry - I certainly didn't mean to imply otherwise if that's how you read it  just wanted to point out that Big Chief (a company that I certainly don't have any real love for given how they've treated the Who-license) have recently acquired the rights to do 12" tall Supermarionation figures in case you hadn't seen the prototypes yourself yet.

As I said - no where near as awesome as owning actual casts of the actual puppets heads, but I thought the news might interest you.

If you want Captain Scarlet, he has those, and the puppet bodies for them too.
