Dollzone Anson and Moment

I used to be just happy with my one bjd and making more instead of buying them (cuz I don't have extra $500 bundles laying around...). And then Dollzone released Anson and Moment. I've always been attracted to a more realistic look in bjds, but the artist side of me just about died when I saw these two.

Where's that extra $500 I left laying around... *rummages through couch cushions*

Yes, Dollzone is certainly diving into the large sized fantasy dolls in a very unique way. Rather than compete by doing critters they've gone with the floral line and I am personally extremelly impressed. Those petal heads must be hell for them to cast. And those arms are exquisite. I don't see myself ever buying one, but I definitely admire them.

I agree with Greyhaunt, I probably wouldn't buy one, but they're gorgeous to look at. I do hope they release human versions, but if they don't, I still like looking. :)

I love Anson and would love to own her but don't have the money. But what I really really want is the little Lulu doll that comes with them as part of the event!

I'm still trying to figure out the allure of having petals for hands, but that's just me. And yet at the same time I still wanna see one of these flower folk in person.

They totally remind me of Disney's Fantasia!

I do like them in an artistic way - not so much as a "character" like my other bjd. If I did have the money, I probably would treat them more like a piece of art to be displayed rather than a doll to play with.

I'm with you on that. :) They look great done up. I'll never be able to afford one, but if I could I probably wouldn't do it's make up any justice T_T

Forget casting the petals...how were they sculpted??? To think about having to do that by hand...and so many of them! Wow. Just wow. :o

I love them too! I wish I could afford them and also afford a way to display them. I think these might be 1/4 dolls though no?
