So... I think I took forever putting him up here because my camera is terrible, and he doesn't have the right wig yet, and he needs new eyes too...

Well, that and I was shy introducing a doll that isn't my own, original, character.... So, for a little background, I'm a big Kaori Yuki fan. My love for her manga started with Godchild, and while I don't think it's her beeest work, what with the convoluted plot line, but it's certainly stuck with me the longest... Especially Jizabel Disraeli. You could call me a fangirl, but that makes it sound really obnoxious... :? It's just that this character has been floatin' around in my life for four years now. ( I have two obitsu's of him aswell, one normal 1/6, and one an 11cm chibi version who's still a work in progress...)

I used to tell myself I'd neeever spend that much money on a doll... But then I saw the last normal skin Dollzone Ying sitting around Junkyspot, and knew I had to have him. So, my rambling and excuses aside... Meet Jizabel Disraeli.

Fun fact, if anyone here is familiar with this series... When I deboxed, the first thing I saw tucked in his box was that stuffed lamb. Emory kind of inadvertently made my LIFE for including a sheep among the freebies.

I'm holding off getting him a new wig until I can find the same leekeworld wig he has, but in slate grey. My bestie is going to make a vest for him, and I'm going to try and find him a white coat, or at least a pattern to sew one....

I'm so beyond excited for this doll... I mean, my Resinsoul MSD, Florian, is my bro.... But Jizabel's sorta just been going everywhere in my house with me since I go him. I can't put him down... And I'm hoping to get my lazy butt around to painting up some scars on his back soon...

I mostly don't like taking his head off... There's something messed up with his head, there's not much keeping the S-hook in place, I dunno if that's normal, or a mistake, since I've never had a Dollzone boy before... But right after I got him, his S-hook slipped outta his head, and slammed down on his neck, chipping it pretty badly... I'm thinking about getting some epoxy and building up the inside of his head, to make a more secure little cradle for that S hook.... But I digress.

I have my first SD... And he's huge, and heeeaavy, because Ying just HAD to be a 70cm sculpt... D;
... But I love this dollieh. <3 ^^;

Congrats on the new (big!) doll! He looks awesome! And very much like his character. I read that whole series, awhile back, I don't remember a whole bunch about it, some basics, but I remember I liked it. I know what you mean about the term fan girl it does sound obnoxious. I hope when you get his scars done, and his right wig you'll spam photos!

Send us pictures of his head and s-hook issues, I am sure you'll get lots of helpful advice. I'd suggest putting it in tips n' tricks.

The new doll is awesome. I love the DZ boys. Don't have one yet, but maybe one day I will.

I may take a few and post them, at least to find out whether or not it's normal...

On one side there's a nice little indentation for the hook to rest... but on the other side, there was basically nothing.
I took a dremel to it the day I got him, and there's also a little moleskin around thaaat, that's basically there until I get some epoxy of some sort to build up around it. His head doesn't really like staying where I put it, either. There are some places that it just will not stay, and tends to flop down into another spot. I've never had to suade around a dolls head, but I'm thinking about trying it...
