Look what Kiki did!!

Because she is a little shy, I have stolen this post from Junkyspot! She announced this at DollAKon, so the "Kat" as it were, is out of the bag.

Here is Kiki's post:

Seems like my boys all but *died* when we got back from A-kon.

Before anyone starts going off on Seiki and Alison being a couple, they're not. Alison is about as cuddly as all get go. Try and get him to NOT cuddle.

Seiki hasn't bothered to change out of his 10th Doctor cosplay... though he did put away the sonic. Alison is also still in almost full 'Alois Trancy' cosplay.

Left to right:

Mamoru - 60cm Obitsu boy hybrid*, Parabox Gretel. (Must mention awesome sweater made by Lunarennui. Seriously this is the best doll sweater I've ever seen or handled!)
Kojiro - 55cm obitsu boy, Parabox Gretel.
Alison - 57cm Sweet Dolls, Alison.
Seiki - 60cm Dollzone boy, Hirry.

Erik hasn't bothered to switch back from his cosplay wig, and hasn't bothered to wash off the Sebastian 'contract'. Omi is just happy to be home, and with Erik. There may be a little less murder in my future.

Omi - ??cm Insane Obitsu hybrid, Parabox Gretel.
Erik - 70cm Dollzone, Yuu.

Alison being a cuddle-butt with Seiki. They are NOT a couple. Seiki could technically be considered bi, since he has the same interest in both genders, which happens to be none. That should kill any and all speculations right there about these two. ^.~

Now on to Alison, or the section that should be labeled, 'LOOK WHAT I DID!!!'; or.... 'Coming soon to a Junkyspot near you!'

Totally not kidding. After spending two years getting his aesthetics to where I wanted them, then spending 400-500hrs sanding him smooth, to then put in his jointing... and finally casting him by hand. I do not joke about my boy.

This is the reason my comic went on an unplanned hiatus... I am currently working on filling an order of these little darlings for Emory. Yes, they will be listed in Junkyspot for sale. Please don't try and buy one directly from me, since I'll just point you in Emory's direction.

The doll in the Alois costume is my personal doll. The only part on him that is non-standard for his body-type are the feet. Those were modified to allow him to wear those boots. When the girl is made, she will have option high-heel feet. The ankles will be the same between both bodies to allow the feet to be swapped from one gender to the other.

Currently there are two faces, Alison Human, and Alison Elf. There are subtle differences between the two other than the fact that one has elf-ears and the other human. ^.~

The torso is a 4-part; pectorals, ribs, waist, and hips. I think it looks cute, it also gives him a really nice slouch. ^.~

Now, what can this body do... unwired AND unsueded?

For some reason, the Dollzone didn't seem to have quite as much delicious style as a Sweet Doll.

Headstand, so not a fluke. Zirc has what I consider a 'junk' body that was used to make the Alois costume for my boy. The one with the blue shirt was donated to a charity auction. To say his new person *ADORES* him, is a severe understatement.... she accidentally woke her mother up while giggling hysterically in her sleep while talking about how much she loves her new boy. THAT alone totally made my convention. ^_____^

My doll has been doomed to never be straight... ever.

*Zirc and I argued on whether or not these should be 'listed' as a hybrid, but I'm stating that they are since Parabox claims that their closest equivalent of this particular body IS a hybrid. Ergo, I'm going with the companies lingo on this one.

Would it also be possible to get pics of his hands? I'd love to get a better look at those nails.

Sometimes he does take a *little* coaxing to get into some of the really crazy poses... but, what can I expect from a resin doll? Actually, I was trying to design him to take really natural poses as possible based off of what I learned in my Figure Drawing class from MCAD.

One of the odder parts of his design is that his pelvis needs to be tilted for him to sit better, just like on a real human! It's really weird balancing aesthetics with posability, and figuring out what muscle groups can be best represented by 'X' jointing system. I WAS going to bisect his stomach to gain another point of mobility, but decided against it, since then I wouldn't have that really adorable little tummy! ^____^
