That is a good looking boy. I don't think he'd fit with my crew and I would also be killed if I brought home another doll right now, but he is nice to look at.

Yes, and I think it is safe to say it's rare to find an African sculpt AND a good skin color that matches it. If I needed the guy for a character I'd get him but I've already got a good doll for Abraham.

Wow.
Just....wow.
Wow.

Although- I hate the way they styled him for Otello. But I love the other clothing- the business attire and the street wear.

But man....
Wow.

I am soooooo tempted, and this at a time when I am really thinking seriously about downsizing.

Safe to say indeed. It's also rare to find a doll that looks genuinely good bald. The Otello styling is really iffy but he does look fine in the business attire. He really reminds me of Minty Fresh from Christopher Moore's A Dirty Job.

That is the best looking black man doll I have seen since the last one that Iplehouse issued. I thought Iple was the only company that would EVER do dolls that look ethnically appropriate, but Granado is going to seriously give them a run for their money!

Too bad Christmas, my birthday, Mother's Day, Anniversary, and Valentine's Day are all over with. I might have been able to convince my husband for one or all of those events.
Sh!t.
Nothing now under Christmas 2012, and he will likely be sold out by then.

Have him buy it for you for Xmas - only have him ship it to K2, who will not only NOT want to steal the doll since it ain't vinyl, he'll keep it nice and safe for you until the holidays :)

I'd say have it mailed to me, but I'd keep it

That's a great idea!
Except for that little pesky "money" thing......

I know, and yeah it's SO rare to find a sculpt that actually looks right. Especially black men, they're really hard to find properly done. I hate that they're doing a limited 30 dolls run. And you know you'll see some on the marketplace marked WAY up. /sigh. I love Granado. They're just too pricey now. I have the Boyd and he's really the best posing doll I've ever worked with. The joints are just incredibly designed. Well, I tell myself I can't have 'em all.
