Quickly clearing out the face-up back-log... Photos sooooo are not doing justice to these little guys. Resu sent me these little snakes and told me to use my best judgment. So, yar; silver and gold snakies!!!!
Hardest part of this was getting the two of them to a uniform color, and then making them SHINE without the aid of a gloss-coat. A good chunk of the white that is showing up on the silver snake is light being reflected back at the camera... the snake itself is a more or less even tone of light grey/silver. The gold snake was loads easier to work with than the silver one... It took to just about all of the techniques I threw at it like a fish to water, while the silver one fought me every inch of the way. >.>;;;
The part that I had the most fun on was the eyes. They go from green to yellow, with varying highlights, and the cute little slit-pupil. On the sculpt, the eyes are pretty flat, so I made them pop a little more with a few extra layers of gloss. Woot!
