Toes, hair, heads. Oy.

Well, now that I've got three heads and two bodies I've started swapping heads around. The face up on the two Impldoll heads I have are so nice, I hate to let the "Antonia" head languish in the closet. So I stuck that head on the Resinsoul (Dai) body. The two dolls look more like sisters now.

Then I had to experiment a little bit with blushing, since the Impldoll is fairly yellow and the RS is fairly white. I have come to no conclusions yet, but I have identified the three chalk (not oil) pastels that, combined, will make up an acceptable shade to get the RS closer to the Impl. I've been using the top of the resinsoul head as my experimental zone.
Of course, since I had the watercolors out, I played with toes.
I used a watercolor pencil in Poppy Red, then smeared/evened it out with a damp brush, used some trusty Mr. Super Clear and topped it off with gloss acrylic paint.
These are Amelia's toes. The redhead will get a pink mani/pedi.
I decided that I really like the brown wig that I have on Amelia. I chose it for its vintage style potential. So, I played around with the red wig for Regina a little bit, giving it a 40s pincurl set with pieces of drinking straw. It is a mohair wig so it takes a set nicely.
Here it is before brushing out.
The ends are a little frizzy but I did get the waves I wanted with the set. Which you can see in the first picture.
I also managed to get all the clothing alterations in the works transferred to the paper patterns. Some of the patterns can go straight to "production" but there are some that will need a second trial fit. I have stacks of cotton voile in solids and prints I hope will look good for doll scale fabrics.
