Dollzone 70cm Yue/Hong/Chen Stabilizer Question

Postby Neko Sandy » Tue Sep 25, 2012 3:20 pm

So a while ago I posted this thread asking for some help dealing with a stabilizer that had come loose in my then new 70cm Yue. It was something I had never seen before and thankfully I got all kinds of help on how to possibly fix the issue.

Now, I notice, though that the 70cm Hong I got around the same time (and have actually done less with) also has had the same stabilizer come free. Both boys are on the new Dollzone 70cm body so I'm beginning to wonder if there is some kind of flaw in either the doll design or the glue used to hold the stabilizer in place that is causing this issue.

So here is a call out to people who own a 70cm Yue, Hong or Chen (or just happened to buy one of the new Dollzone 70cm male bodies when they first came out), has the main stabilizer in the upper torso of your boy come loose? Do you know anyone who owns this body and has had this problem? Let me know! I am curious to know if this is a wide spread thing or if maybe just the way I'm keeping my boys/some kind of atmospheric thing (I live in a bad apartment where unfortunately there are wider temp variations than I would like) or just sheer bad luck on my part is causing this. My AngelRegion Tanning Kai has had a joint come apart too, but he wasn't taken the best care of before he came to me so I'm sure that's the cause. Other than that, I've never had this kind of issue before. Thoughts anyone?

I have a Chen who was probably made in 2009(got him second hand) and I haven't had any issues like that, but maybe I've just been lucky.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I honestly don't think that there is anything faulty from the company, but the fact that I had it happen to two dolls I've taken good care of made me wonder. More likely, it might be something with the heat and cold in this stupid apartment. Repeated temp swings probably aren't good for whatever glue they used to hold the stabilizer in place. X.x
