A sunny afternoon, climbing trees and picking clover.

I have been working on that bodice for ages now, and finally got it done. I'm not 100% happy. Gimp Braid trim always looks cheap to me.. Next time i'm bringing her brush outside with me..her wig looks soo ratty...-.-

Thanks :) Sometimes she whispers very quietly and I get the feeling she wants to go out in the garden :) I really dislike taking her outside, but I cant say no to that face.

Took me a while to realize she's a Pullip hybrid! Lovely! What body is she on?

I couldn't sleep after work and had some trim and things kicking around my sewing basket in amounts that were too small for any human size garments. I'm not sure if this belongs here, but heres the bodice on my tapey sewing dummy. It's grey wool suiting, cotton lace and mettalic gimp braid with misc metal accents and glass beads. it's split so big in the back to make it easier to sit and pose her. hand sewn.

Use a smaller gimp trim, 1/4" instead of 1/2". It's hard to find, but worth it. It's not that gimp trim looks cheap, it's that it looks oversized.
