Colum is here! (Sweet Dolls Allison)

I'm beyond excited that my Colum is here in my arms! He's a character who's near and dear to my heart, if not the most important character that I've ever created. If it weren't for him and his partner (who's already been dolled as a Dollmore Pado that I gave to my best friend as a birthday gift back in January), most of my characters wouldn't exist. Colum in doll form needed to show how mischievous he is, but that wasn't my biggest requirement - my biggest requirement was that he needed to be taller than Ashley, Jacob, and Gabriel - who are already dolled in MSD size - but needed to be shorter than Mohana, and the possibly dolled Elijah, and I really didn't want to have to go looking for a SD17 for Elijah as then it would make Jacob look ridiculous next to him. So when Kiki-chan started posting about Allison I was really intrigued. He had the perfect face. I've been itching to get him ever since, and his height is perfect for Colum!
Okay, enough chit-chat = here are the box opening pictures I promised some people
Didn't take any pictures of the JS box, we all know what they look like. But here's his box:
Inside, some runaway packing peanuts and a mummy
Sweet Dolls sticker and Allison card (and some assorted JS goodies)
Hello, little face! Soooo glad I got brown eyes; it saves me changing them
While all this was going on, one of the cats ventured over to inspect the JS box. Earlier, he had been holding it down for me to open it.
All out and naked
Even bald, he's a cutie. He definitely needs some clothes of his own soon though. Hopefully after Christmas he can get some good things.
Some posing. He was sitting on the arm of my chair while I was having some dinner last night. His other leg is just dangling, not holding on to anything. This was after I got him to stand on one leg with just a little weight on his toes (I swear I totally wasn't making him look like a ballerina), but the picture of that came out too blurry. Hopefully I can get him to do it again soon.
This is kind of the same pose as on the arm of the chair, but more leaned over. Colum is my little selkie, and needs to be as flexible as his seal counterpart. I found my last free 7-8 wig; I bought his actual wig (or at least one of them - I'd like to get a curly one as well) during the JS storewide sale, and it should be here tomorrow, it's just got to our local sorting facility this morning.
Who, me?
Didn't realize that this was blurry at first, but I'm a sucker for a doll sitting in such a sweet little kneeling position.
I'm seriously in love with him and can't wait to start dressing him and playing with him once he has his real wig tomorrow!
And an extra for size comparison. I had Gabriel and Ridley with me so I decided to show how he looks next to the two of them. For some reference, Gabriel is on the old Dollzone single-jointed MSD body, and Ridley is on the 61 cm Resinsoul Gang body. He looks a bit funny because his shirt is bunched up.
I'll add another picture of him tomorrow once he has his real wig. Now I'm going to eat some cake and shop for some clothes for my new darling.
