Messing about with props

I have a cold. I'm too fuzzy headed to sew/build anything and I've had too much sleep to nap.
Time to play with dolls!
In the last month or so I've picked up some books, and a mirror, and reassigned a small framed picture of my grandma from my dresser to the dolls'. I also, in my fuzzyheaded state, managed to make a table runner for the dresser top today. And I remembered that I'd picked up a mini violin.
The shiny thing on the floor in the last frame is a hatbox.
I messed around a bit with some foam boards and that deco paper tape to try to make a backdrop more room-like yet temporary and storable.
I'm not sure I'm believing it, neither am I sure I need to go there. The foam boards are 30" tall. An 8' room is 96". So the room is a bit too short. In my 1/3 scale world, Amelia would be the equivalent of 5' 6". However, the room seems quite tall to me. Maybe it is the angle of the shot.
Or my cold.
