60cm Obitsu questions?

I did look back through the forum but I'm still confused. I'm replacing my DD body with a 60cm Obitsu and really I'm just wondering about the difference between the three part torso and the not three part torso. Is the three part torso also squishy? Does it pose better? Despite how much I've tried to pay attention I really have no idea what I'm doing here. Or if you have a link to where these questions might have already be answered, that would also be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

No, the center part is quite "stiff".

Does it pose better?

It has the same internal joint structure as the other 60cm bodies. The two torso "seams" give you a better indication of where the torso joints of the skeleton are located. But with the two part body you can squeeze the torso parts to "feel" where the jointing is. Both types pose very well.

Despite how much I've tried to pay attention I really have no idea what I'm doing here.

Oh, we're not buying that.

The big difference in the 60cm body is the ball joint version and the sliding joint version. This only applies to the elbows and the knees. All the other joints are the same. The sliding joint has a little more range of motion (about 10-15 degrees), whereas with the ball joint version the elbows and knees are more aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks so much K2! Sometimes I just get really confused and need things spelled out like this. This was perfect. Thanks.

Go with the 2 part body. The torso is nicer and the ass doesn't fall off LOL. I originally got a three part body and after a while everytime I picked it up, from the hips down it would fall off - very annoying and unladylike! hahahaha

Ditto that. Not a big fan of the 3 part body, for exactly that reason.
I find the BJD joints are more attractive and natural-looking, and the sliding joints more awkward-looking but more flexible. So it depends on which is more important to you. For me- I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of flexibility for beauty.
