Is this right?

Hey guys, Amber's in pieces at the moment because I felt like tightening her strings. And I was taking her sueding off thinking that I could change them. I didn't really like the first one I did. And while I was peeling, well more like picking if off, I ended up with this

When you guys suede again, do you end up with this as well? I was actually expecting it to just peel off kinda smoothly, but its nowhere near that :(

And on her ankle, I saw this
(this joint)

I saw this

I also saw a tiny, paperthin piece of resin on hot glue I peeled off

Is the resin chipping? And why?! I can't remember if it had a little crack or some shipping before I sueded her.

Any tips guys? :(

I'm not sure what kind of tip I can give...How high was the heat setting on the hot glue gun? (If you got a Den of Angels account I'd post there and see what they got to say.)

I do have a DoA account but I'm not really active there because I'm still a bit confused there XD Heat setting, I'm not sure actually, I just bought a regular glue gun because it was the only one I could afford then.

XD I'd post in their customization forum see what they think. I'm not sure but maybe the glue melted her resin a little?

Maybe, there might have been a small crack or something. As long as it doesn't get worse, it won't bother me :)

Right and you can't even see it when she's fully strung anyways. ^^

When I took off Akane's sueding in his legs to redo it, the glue came out in pieces like what happened to you.

As for the resin chipping, it looks like maybe you used a high temp glue gun. Most highly recommend using a low temp glue gun because a high temp can possibly melt your dollieh. I can't be sure because I don't physically have the doll, but that would be my best bet.
