I was in a mood when I got home from work this afternoon. All I wanted to do was play with dolls, and even though he will always be my favorite boy ever (sorry, Mohana and Colum) he has been pretty much used as a glorified set piece for Mohana to drape off of, since Mohana doesn't have anyone else to drape off of.

So I decided to plop him against my door and just keep moving myself around to play with the light in the room and a bit with his angles.

Thanks. The glasses are meant to be a bit big - they're meant for a Victorian man and Ridley is given them

Aww thanks guys

They're definitely part of his personality and overall aesthetic, and he's had them since I got him nearly 2 years ago, but recently I've gotten an odd spattering of comments focusing on them, it's like they're new! lol. He's such a perfect representation of the description I had of the comic book character my roommate and I made back in college (and his face is a perfect recreation of how she drew him because she's' the one who did it), though. It still surprises me sometimes!

That's how I feel about my boy, Shy! I wanna see more of Ridley lol~ You should do the whole 'play with camera and dolly' thing more often.

Aww. I promise that once I'm done with classes for the semester in two weeks I'll be home for enough sunlight to take pictures of him again! Hopefully I can get permission to pull Nell out of glitterbird's room so he can finally get some pictures with her again.

He is a handsome guy. And those ears! They're so beautiful! I agree with Okami, the "play with light, camera, angles" gig really works for you

I'm right there with you at the end of my semester. My dollies don't get a whole lot of attention during those weeks but they are ever patient and always nearby to give me a smile
