Quick Update on looks

Nyta has a new wig - it suits her far better than her old one; I miss the cyberlox but they really didn't suit the character hugely as day to day wear...

She looks a lot more herself now - and you can see her ears!

New floating head... Yep yet another one - not too sure about this face-up - I was aiming for a halfway look that could pass as "normal guy" in the bjd world, and a guy in drag with the right wig...
Image

Face-up practice head's latest look... Did him as a rival gang member to Sasu's... Which may have been a mistake!

Detail of his "face-paint" - no idea where these little mutant street-kids are getting all of this metallic face-paint from!

Thanks! They're all odd but well meaning characters in the "multiverse". Eek! Looking at it this post has really highlighted just how many floating heads I've got... There's the 3 here, and then Anon. and Vimes... (Not to mention the 2 who "don't count" since their bodies are on order... Sheesh!)

Love the bits of color in the Mohawk! And the face paint with the orangey stripes is awesomesauce.

Yeah MonstroDesigns on Etsy custom made it - took forever but I mean a wig that's a chelsea-hawk?? It was too perfect to pass-up! I'm not sure I'd ever get a doll with a full mohawk; I've seen people try it but they really do look exactly as though someone has glued a strip of fur to the dolls head...

Thanks! I love the orange-stripe face-up too; he came across just the way I wanted. He's trying, and failing to look tough and intimidating, and has just ended up making himself look kinda cute - I think it's the best of the "out there" face-ups I've done; Nyta's really needs redoing, it just looks so clumsy! I'm definitely still learning though; I'd say I've gotten to a point where just over half of the face-ups I do come out more or less how I pictured them (Though I've yet to try a purely acrylic face-up, I've stuck to water-colour pencils for the super thin lines on the lips and most of the eyelashes so far)
