My New American Model

This is one of the newest versions from Tonner. I can't wait to start sewing for her! I named her Josephine after the amazing and beatuiful Josephine Baker.

I think her face is so pretty and she has the inset glass eyes I like so much.

Here is her second wig that came with her. While I love the natural look, I do think it's a bit long and a little too 70's-Pam-Grier for me. I've no clue how to shorten it and may check with my hairdresser to see if she could do it.

I'm thinking she would look good in Red's outfit from Once Upon A Time. :D

Gorgeous girl. I like the second wig best, it's so fluffy and fun!

She looks like a grown up version of AG's Josefina.

She's listed as being African American, but I think Tonner deliberately makes her face look just vaguely ethnic so people can dress her in a variety of ways. I'm sure she'd look wonderful in an historical Native American outfit altho I'm not planning on making one specifically...at this time. Right now, I'm buying the fabrics to make her into Red from Once Upon A Time. I have the shirt, skirt and cape materials, but can't find the right stuff yet for the bodice/corset.

I could see her in one of those Cher/Bob Mackie outfits.

I think she'd work great as Red.
I have an idea of where you might be able to find the fabric for the corset. http://www.minidolls.com/ They sell micro fabric on this site. Check the silks. Some of the strips would probably be the perfect scale for a corset like Red's in a doll this size. I have some of the striped and used it on a 27cm obitsu corset and a coat for the same doll.

Hopefully, this gives you an idea of the scale of the stripes before you buy the fabric.
