She looks absolutely amazing! I've never thought of beads as being something a bjd could be made out of of all the unique materials, but she looks fantastic! Will you make beaded clothes for her too?

Thank you so much! I am glad you like her ^_^ I really wasn't sure that a BJD could be made out of beads either,but I thought it was worth a try. I am making a beaded dress for her right now, and will be making beaded shoes, and possibly some accessories too. I will post more pics here when it's all done, so check back if you want to see

You are seriously making my day, so thank you again! I actually made one other beaded art doll before this one - she's not jointed, but I used the pattern I wrote for her, with slight alterations, to make my jointed Esmeralda. Hehe it's true Thank you! Her dress was made of beaded snowflakes. Esmeralda is going to have a lacy dress too, but I'm using a very different stitch...

That makes sense; it looks like snowflakes. The shiny, white glass beads are reminiscent of ice crystals too! Ooh, I'm even more excited to see Esmeralda's dress now.

I finished Esmeralda on Christmas Eve, but couldn't post her until now because my camera was messed up. So, here is my little flower faerie, all finished! (more pics on my blog & Flickr, see the links in my signature)
