They came with them! Most Charlie Bears do come with some small thing like that.

37. D is for Descendants

Aka Disney's answer to Ever After High that kind of surpassed it due to being the versions of the fairy tales people remember most. Gotta love having a monopoly on people's childhoods.

I always found the dolls of these pretty fun, even if they never made some of the characters I would want - Uma needs her crew around, but there aren't any of Harry Hook or Gil.

Still, they've always been fun to look at and for Hasbro's first run at the Disney license, the dolls came out well.

Could customize dolls and make the crew?
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

I do have a Harry Hook in progress. I just need to get the right stuff to sort his hair...

38. E is for Enchanting

Image

Little Emerald in the dress I made for her!

For those who are curious, Emerald the Enchanting Witch was one of three dolls that were only made for a single year back in the 1970s. Emerald is from 1972 and was made by Girls' World, which appears to have been a division of Milton Bradley. Her gimmick was that her eyes would glow (thanks to a battery). I have no idea whether the gimmick still works on this particular one, but it doesn't really bother me if it does, because I find her adorable.

She was one of my vintage grails and I was so fortunate to find her at the beginning of the year. Wish me luck in finding a Peteena!

39. F is for Fashion

Image

Which quite a few of the people in the room believe is a form of personal expression, as Akiko and Marnie will show here. Akiko prefers comfort in her clothing, while Marnie likes looks a little bit stylish. Both still fashionable, but both expressing themselves differently.

(Akiko did have to reassure Marnie that the sneakers worked with the dress - she's got bigger feet than most dolls, so there aren't many heels her size.)

Marnie is a Marmit Super Excellent Series Cybrene Jewelborg Girl. So, a little robot girl. I had came across one ages ago on Instagram and it really appealed to me, so I went looking and found one late last year on Mandarake. Fully articulated, though from the early 2000s, so that needs to be paid attention to.

Ohhh. Marmit. I used to admire those so much back when I first started haunting the online doll community. I wanted an elf. Now I have an Obitsu 25 (or so) elf instead.
