167. E is for Elinor Rose

Image

One of my lovely Silkstone ladies today. Elinor is the Elegant Rose Silkston doll, and we can certainly see why. I honeslty love the vintage look of these girls, and the weight of them is always surprising - if you can find one discounted, I would suggest snapping it up as the quality is really there!

Elinor is one of the Ladies Who Lunch Club in the Room, who enjoy the finer things in life. I really should show them a little more...

Poor lady would never survive around the bunch here. *looks around and sees mostly rednecks, rebels, and rogues*
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

Oh, don't under estimate Elinor's ability to be extremely cutting with her words...

168. F is for Firework

Image

From the 2012 Charlie Bears collection, Firework is 17" tallk and does have some blue tips in with all that gorgeous purple plush. I tried a few times but I don't know if I managed to get the mixture of colours properly captured - there's a few bears like that, where the mix will only show up under the right type of light.

Then I don't think I'd survive. I have several snark champs, including a lady Wolverine. XD

I think you got Firework's highlights pretty well!

Ooh, I would love to see your Lady Wolverine.

Thank you! It can be hard to get the colours right, especially with plush.

169. G is for Gazza

Image

My pretty boy front man who can hear the entire history of music within his head, though with emphasis on rock. The 'leather' jacket he had is starting to flake pretty badly, so I'll need to try to find a new one...

Oh, and for your entertainment: the cast(s) of We Will Rock You, past and present, sing Bohemian Rhapsody

Logan's not that eye catching, really. She's in plain clothes, and has only my own very primitive attempt at a face up. She was my very first Obitsu. But she's married to the soft, transforming Softimus Prime doll, and they have two little babies adopted from a gumball machine in Iowa.

170. H is for Higgins

Image

From the 2011 collection, and is 15" tall. Higgins is one of the ones it's very easy to give expressions too, and as always, very huggable.

He looks so serious.

I'm posting a photo of Logan and Optimus over on my thread.

Depending on how you brush the fur around his eyes, he can look a few different ways.

Oh, will go and look!

171. I is for Invisible

Image

Invisi-Billy! Or Billy Griffin if you saw the 1933 film and know the Invisible Man was Doctor Jack Griffin. As far as MH male releases went, Billy was a bit different in the lower part of his legs being transulcent but still rather plain. That being said I think he's got one of the better looking sculpts for a MH boy. In my doll-verse, he's related to Twyla Boogeyman - through their mums - and River has a bit of a crush on him, that he doesn't know about.
