312. S is for Sweetie Shop

Image

Four bears for the price of one, today! These are bears who are generally classed as the sweetie shop collection - their names are inspired by sweets. so, let's get this done.

Pick - Red - 11 1/2" tall, from 2016. Black tipping on his ears
Mix - Yellow - 11 1/2" tall, from th3 2016 collection. Black tipped on her years!
Butterscotch - Orangey - 8" tall, from the 2019 collection
Smartie - Blue - 9" tall, from the 2019 collection.

He's a Running Press mini, and came with a little book.

Sweetie shop collection aka gummi bears! :D
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

"I quite like it. I said I was very popular with the mortals."

At least someone knows how to take a plushie version of himself.

Sorry for not posting in the past few days - bit of a mental low. Still not great, but getting somewhere I hope!

314. U is for Unusual Sight

Image

A chimney sweep, that is. Well, it's a not as commonly seen sight, now. This is a bear that was a thing that was available for purchase at the Mary Poppins musical

- - -

315. V is for Vainglorious

Image

Define: vain boastfulness in one's self.

"No one is as magnificent as I!"
"Magnificent git, more like..."

316. W is for Wirabear

Image

This is an old TY beanie that wears the flag of Malaysia. I have some family that live out there, which is why I have the bear.

"Chim chimney chiroo!"

When I was a very small child my baby brother had a brown plastic bear head that would play that tune when a string was pulled.

That's actually pretty cool!

318. Y is for Yaw-Yaw

As coined by Charles Dickens in Hard Times. To yaw-yaw is to talk haughtily or affectedly

"I do not talk affectedly. I merely open my mouth to let my heart speak it's truth."

As a random side thing before I post today's photo? This song has been in my head the past few days. You're welcome: Remember you're a Womble!

319. Z is for Zeal

Image

Define: great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective.

It's little wonder Freya can be so quiet and calm; Ademetus has such a zeal for life in general that he must expend all the energy for both of them.

So he's the kind of kitten that spends half his time hanging off your bum by his claws?

That feels accurate, yes!

320. New Arrival: Marmalade

Image

Arrival Date: 14th November 2020.

My Pipos Star Cheshire arrived! I have been admiring these for a while now, so I put my mind to it earlier this year to save up and get myself one, choosing to order directly from Pipos. And now she's here!

I'm pretty impressed with her now she's in hand. Surprisingly weight, and a solid stander. Also poses really well. She's wearing a Mattel fashion pack item because she's actually a little shorter than I thought she would be, so I need to alter the length of some dresses I had sewn for her. That being said, I like the blue on her.

But yes, my Marmalade, home at last!
