Aw, thank you! I'd like to get a couple more of the Petworks anthro dolls, but I've not really seen any that have jumped out at me the way my Usaggies did. Hm, I'll continue to keep looking.

27. BMR1959 Dress

Image

Just a solo shot of one of my BMR1959 girls. This is I call Kira because... well that particular face sculpt is known as the Kira sculpt. According to checking via the net, anyway.

I've got to admit a fondness for these dolls, as ridiculous as the outfits can be - they're so 90s and it makes me grin. Plus, polo neck dresses should totally be a thing again for the cold weather.

I find that fashion trends seem to go around again like every 20 years or so. Like, when I was in my last two years of high school in mid- 90s, 60s or 70s fashion was all the rage. Platform heels, bellbottom jeans, embroidered blouses and fringe vests and such, and I’ve seen those same styles recently when I walk through the juniors sections at department stores. Also, printed rayon pants. I wore those all through high school and they’re making a comeback. Which I’m kind of glad about because those things were so comfortable (even if they did wrinkle like a bitch). lol

Who knows, Kira’s style might come back again, too! Although, I was never a fan of high-necked shirts. I always felt like I was gonna choke or suffocate just trying to get them on over my head!

This isn't something I'd like for my dolls or myself, but it's so shamelessly gaudy, you gotta love it. I always loved craziness in its many forms

There is actually a phrase to describe how fashion trends reappear over a certain amount of time but I genuinely cannot think of what it is. It's entirely possible Kira's style will reappear - we're getting into a certain amount of 90s/00s nostalgia lately.

It isn't the usual style I prefer for my dolls, and yet I cannot help but love it on her? Which is all kinds of interesting, really.

28. BMR1959 Racer

Just a close up shot of my one other BMR1959 girl. I call this girl Billie and clearly she's a professional cyclist.  As weird as the styles for this line are? I really do like them. Maybe I'll get lucky enough to be able to pick up the others.

It's definitely something she'd be shouting, lol.

Deep down, this is what Ben Solo wants... Even if he'll never admit it. Maybe it's possible, someday. Maybe.
