Not really sure where I should post this, since she's not really a plushie either. Please let me know if she needs to be moved.

Today I finished my first beaded art doll! She is my own pattern and design. Her name is Snegurochka, and she is made entirely from glass seed beads. She's about 7 inches tall. I'm really happy with the way she turned out! ^-^ Here are a few photos of her:

What a cool idea. I've never seen a doll made of beads before. She looks great.

So... does she have glass slippers? heeheehee

That's wonderful! You do such great work! Is she stuffed? Or do the beads support the shape well enough?

Thank you both! ^-^

Voodoolie, everyone says that! But I really don't feel very patient. She seemed to come together pretty quickly. Or maybe the time just passes quickly when I'm working on it because of the concentration involved…

Zirconmermaid, she is stuffed with organic cotton to help keep the shape. You would expect her to feel hard because she's glass, but she's actually kind of firm, yet soft. My mom says it reminds her of human skin in a way. Strange how things like that happen! But it's neat. She's got a nice weight to her too.

Thank you! I suppose it did, but I was so excited about making her that it didn't seem so bad :)
