I have been working on making a BJD out of beads lately, and I wanted to share her with you! Her name is Esmeralda, she is approximately 9 inches tall. She is made of glass seed beads, organic cotton thread and stuffing, and has Swarovski pearl joints. She has 13 points of articulation. She still needs clothes and shoes, I will share more photos of her when they are finished. All in all I am happy with how she turned out, although I am thinking of slightly changing the placement of the torso joint on the next doll. Anyways, here she is!

This is really outstanding! The hands and feet completely blow my mind! Is this your own pattern? Well done!

Completely amazing. Every time I beaded an irregular shape, it looked....deformed.

Thanks so much! I am really happy with the way the hands and feet turned out ^_^ Yes, this is my own pattern.

ZirconMermaid, thank you! :)

victoriavictrix, thank you! Hmm, were you trying to do the irregular shapes in 3D? If you were, did you try stuffing them? I use some organic cotton stuffing in my beaded dolls to help hold the shape. It has a nice feel to it too :)

richila, thank you so much! :D
