For dolls of all shapes and sizes who come in non caucasian skin tones.

Saw adorable 5" Berenguer, and a size bigger, with dark skin for the first time. Giggling baby in the bath is an old sculpt but the other two look new to me. This is the size most of the knit and crochet books are made for.

oh man, i love colored dolls. my first (and only) BJD was a Hujoo in chocolate skin. i myself am white, but i live in a majority black city and go to a majority black school. so i've always thought dark skin is the prettiest.

that little colored baby doll with the heart apron is precious!! those puckered lips, oh my lord <33

That one in the purple carrier is cute.

Don't know if you've heard, but there's a new doll line out now that concentrates on dark-skinned dolls, and the company is African American-owned. The new line is called Prettie Girls Tween Scene. They're 16" and being sold at Walmart right now. Next year, they're also going to be sold in Toys R Us and Target. There are six dolls in the collection at the moment, and of the six, three are dark-skinned, and one is tan-skinned. The other two are an Asian and a redheaded Caucasian girl.

I know I sound like a commercial for them, but I really like the dolls and hope they are successful.

This is going to be their web site: http://tweenscenedolls.com/.
