This is Angelica by Phillip Heath. She's the one that scares people. She's 39" tall.
Here she is with Beatrice.
Bea on her own.
Angelica with the other babies.

She's gorgeous!! And you can get her all those cute clothes I see at stores all the time!! Awesome! I suppose I shall have to take pictures of my Madame Alexander Walking doll (with whom I shared clothes!) and my Chatty Cathy's!

all she needs is a bit more color in her face and hands, and some band-aids, and I would never know she wasn't real! XD

Thanks so much for all your comments. She's part cloth bodied so it restricts what I can put on her. She's a child age 3-4 years in size. She has a vinyl torso, forearms, calves and feet (no poseable ankle or wrist, sadly) She weighs 10lb, which doesn't sound much but try lifting that to change her and it's hard work. To wash her hair, she lays down on the draining board with her hair over a bowl in the sink. She doesn't mind that, doesn't like the hours it takes for her hair to dry and really hates me combing it out. It takes over an hour to get those curls tamed! I swear I used to catch her looking as though she was going to cry and once I was done, she had this subtle smile. I know it's me, but honestly it was freaky! I used to stand her up and give her a cuddle for being to so good and catch that little smile and do a double take. So then I asked hubby if he could see it and he said he thought she looked like she was smiling and thoughtful at the same time. I think he humours me. She has a fab wardrobe of clothes and shoes but the damn mice ate some of them. I hate mice!
The last photo shows he colour better. She's fairly dark with a subtle french manicure on hands and feet. Her lips could do with more colour and her cheeks, but she's so Italian! Hubby thinks she's a little mini me as a child. He used to buy her hats and sunglasses, even a nightie. She's lots of fun to play with, but I'd still prefer more managable hair. That's why it's usually up. It's a wild big bush otherwise.
Beatrice has human hair. She's a tiny Himstedd.
That Lusion doll is gorgeous. I bet she's heavy. She doesn't look like a child though. Thank goodness Angelica was in a sale. She was in the shop for 5 years! Poor kid thought she was going to be left on the shelf for the rest of her days.

And if you've seen
Toy Story 2 you know what happens to toys when they don't get bought, and wind up on a dusty shelf for years and years and years...they go MAD! Mad, I tell you! Mad!
