Dollieh Sanctuary

Well now....arrogant little Lord Falconwing has met his muse! I just finished up a pattern commission and used some of the proceeds for this little gal...a PlanetDoll mini elf Renee. I had wanted a normal skin tone, but they were sold out at Denver Doll, so I got the tan because I didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks for one. I had money and I wanted a doll NOW!

Now that she's here, I'm glad I settled for the tan one. It's really a very nice mellow tan. Here she is upon her arrival (no faceup.....just wanted to get a quick pic to see how these two looked together).



Here she is after her faceup and body blushing....being a little afraid of her new home (she doesn't mind nakedness....LOL!)



"Oh please, may I have some hair?"



After some added hair, she felt completely dressed! LOL!



I haven't settled on her hair or eye color yet. I was thinking white/blonde for a sharp contrast to her tan....with maybe some ice blue eyes. But then.....this brown hair and eyes looks pretty good, too!

She's really gorgeous. Actually I think the white hair and ice blue eyes would be stunning. Lovely face up.

As much as I adore my mini-Riz, I sooooooo want a Renee!

So, does she have a name yet? She's lovely, btw!

Thanks, Iwa_Hoshi.......she is from PlanetDoll and is 27cm tall. She is mini Elf Renee.

Thanks, Valli. I ordered some wig caps and mohair wefts to attempt making a special wig for her. I've got an idea in my head of what I want it to look like, but couldn't find a wig that came anything close to it. Now we'll just have to see if I can pull it off. I've never made a wig before.....

Thanks, Kirahfaye! It was her ears that sold me on the Renee sculpt. I haven't quite decided what "species" she will be yet (it's a toss up between faerie or pixie at this point).

And oh! I did forget to mention her name! Her name came to me almost immediately upon her arrival......her name is "Tawnee". Just perfect for her!

Thank you, maywong....I love her ears, too! I think that's what helped me to choose her over mini Riz!

Mmmm, perhaps its her tan tone, but she actually appears more busty than my normal skin Riz . . . . She certainly has a more mature look (which is another reason I want a Renee).
